Serta Asks America to “DECLARE PEACE” In the Most Comfortable place around: the bedroom

Nearly half of Americans claim they spend less than one hour per day feeling at peace and relaxed.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (May 17, 2017) – Living in an always-on culture and with the ongoing stressors of everyday life, Americans are in a state of record-level unrest and discomfort. Now more than ever, it’s impacting their ability to sleep comfortably according to the National Sleep Foundation’s Sleep in America Poll. In their new campaign, Serta is encouraging people to take some time out of their busy lives and “Declare Peace.” With nearly half of Americans claiming they spend less than one hour per day feeling at peace and relaxed, Serta is reminding everyone that there’s no better place than the bedroom to find complete comfort, whether it’s for 15 minutes or a full night’s sleep.

Now through June 16, fans can join Serta by visiting DeclarePeace.com and using #SertaPeace on Instagram or Twitter to share how they’ll take time out to relax and reclaim their bedroom. Those who join are also entered for a chance to win the grand prize of a serene, tranquil bedroom makeover, as well as weekly comforting prizes including mattresses, pillows, blankets, sheets and more.

Fans will be invited to join Serta in a relaxing bedroom setting amidst the city’s boisterous streets. There, people will be able to take time out to declare peace and be inspired to recreate their own comfort corner at home, all while trying out Serta’s latest technologically-advanced mattress offerings.
