BEAUTYREST® OFFERS SUSTAINABLE COMFORT WITH NEW HARMONY LUX™ LINE
Newest Beautyrest innovation features a blend of comfort, support and cooling technologies and SEAQUAL™ sustainable fabric, helping to promote cleaner oceans
Atlanta, GA. (January 26, 2020) – Beautyrest® is introducing the new Harmony Lux™ line, featuring the latest innovations in support, comfort and cooling that work in harmony to unlock the best sleep. The line also offers sustainable comfort, with the inclusion of SEAQUAL™ fabric technology. SEAQUAL is the leader in ocean plastic recovery and upcycling efforts, and this partnership will help promote cleaner oceans with every mattress sold.
“As one of the industry’s leading mattress brands, we’ve adopted a consumer-centric approach to thoughtfully curate our product lines,” said Andrew Long, Senior Director, Beautyrest Marketing. “We’ve heard consumers’ interest in more sustainable offerings and are pleased to deliver an innovative product to meet that desire. Each queen mattress in the Beautyrest Harmony Lux line helps recover and upcycle the equivalent of 50 water bottles from our oceans, while also helping people get a great night’s rest.”
The line features a new support system with the brand’s latest unique coil design precisely positioned to deliver extra support where it is needed most. It offers a suite of advanced comfort technologies, including a new carbon fiber foam for consistent support, gel memory foam directly below the quilted sleep surface for immediate pressure relief, and a premium memory foam featuring actual diamond particles to help conduct heat away from the body. Plus, each mattress includes new cooling technologies to help people fall asleep and stay asleep.
In addition to SEAQUAL fabric technology, all models feature consumer-driven innovations, including:
- Precision Support System™ powered by T2 Pocketed Coil™ Technology
- Beautyrest’s new Precision Support System™ delivers extra support where your body needs it most. Patented T2 Pocketed Coil Technology™, an exclusive dual-strand coil design invented by Beautyrest, is located within the center of the mattress to provide additional support.
- RightTemp™ Wave Foam
- RightTemp™ Wave Foam features ultra-strong, highly conductive carbon fibers for a consistently supportive feel and cool sleep, night after night.
- InfiniCool™ Lux
- InfiniCool™ Lux provides a cool sleep environment, including a cool-to-the-touch sleep surface, to help you fall asleep and stay asleep.

About Seaqual 4U
Seaqual 4U was established in 2016 by three key players in the textile industry: the ECOALF foundation, textile group SANTANDERINA and the ANTEX spinning mill. Its objective is to produce a recycled polyester fibre created by upcycling deep sea plastic waste. To achieve this, Seaqual 4U now uses a fleet of 400 fishing boats and 1,500 fishermen who clear the sea depths of pollution as they fish the seas. The waste recovered is processed to create a fibre, which is then transformed into continuous and staple yarns, capable of meeting the requirements of the entire textile industry. Fabrics and garments manufactured using these yarns make a genuine contribution to the ethical economy. www.seaqual.com
